i sorta wish i could put up my #xmas tree his year, but it was always a several day labor of love attaching the 100’s of ornaments, so now with my hands not working as well as they used to, it would take a week. i’d have to leave it up until march to justify the effort and i don’t want to be that “year round xmas gay” just yet- gotta save something for my old age! plus, last time i put it up, several branches didn’t light, and after sitting in the box for several years, i’m sure i’d be looking at rewiring big chunks, which sounds as appealing as sticking my hand into a fire. but i’ll always have pictures! it was the prettiest goddamned tree *ever* (if i don’t say so myself) and i vow to resurrect her again one day... just not this year. so maybe i’ll attach jingle bells to doris, and call her my christmas decor! that and a poinsettia, and boom- done! 🤣🐕😢🎄#maison21
