I’ve been using Vinted for a while, but this experience has completely destroyed my trust in the platform.As a seller, the parcel I sent reached the buyer burned and charred through, with a visible burnt hole in the packaging that went all the way through and damaged the item inside. The fabric was singed and covered in soot — clear evidence that the damage occurred during transit with BoxNow, Vinted’s shipping partner. I provided photographic proof, yet Vinted’s response was to blame me for “insufficient packaging” and refuse any compensation.For the record, I used a padded, bubble-wrap envelope bought from the post office, exactly as recommended in their own packaging guidelines. I am obviously not required to use fire-proof materials, and it is the carrier’s responsibility to safely transport parcels.Vinted ignored all the evidence and sent a canned “final decision” response — no accountability, no proper human review. The buyer was refunded, while I was left with a burned item, lost revenue and no support whatsoever.If you’re a seller, beware: Vinted will not protect you if their courier damages your parcel, even when the fault is clearly theirs.Extremely disappointed — I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and sharing this experience widely so others can avoid the same treatment.

Although they attempted to help by changing my email, it didn’t work, and then I was asked to open a new case for my issue without clear guidance.While automated responses may be helpful for basic inquiries, the system does not provide the necessary support for transaction issues that require immediate resolution. I was disappointed and had to cancel the transaction, apologizing to my buyer. If you’re looking for apps that offer better support and security, it might be wise to consider other platforms that are more user-friendly and effective in customer service.

Vinted makes buying and selling very easy and convenient, and the overall experience of listing and shipping items is simple and fast. However, customer support still feels very limited and heavily automated. Many users struggle to get proper help in difficult situations, and this is something that seriously affects the platform’s reputation and user trust.At the same time, I would really like to see the Greek market expanded to more EU countries. Currently, users in Greece are mainly connected only with Greece, Romania, and Hungary, which significantly limits buying and selling opportunities compared to several other European Vinted regions that have access to a wider international market.Expanding cross-border access for Greek users would improve item variety, visibility for sellers, and the overall experience for everyone using the platform in Greece. I hope Vinted continues improving both customer support and market accessibility in the future.

Thank God you got the boost so you can intentionally make people pay because you make the algorithm in a way that your stuff doesn’t get viewed and then you pay for the upgrade,you post stuff and it goes worse than before. You can post regularly in a way so your profile gets viewed, you do that with everything that you’ve seen on the Internet to help you get more people and nothing happens and then suddenly they recommend you the boost ….obviously. It’s not like I’m trying to make a fortune or resell at a huge price because I think I am someone, we try to do what the app was designed to do. Thanks for the boost and 3.5€ that i paid for it to get oh so famous but as we say in greece, i got my balls😒
