Apple seems like only allow full her capability with AVKit. The video appears to be darker than Safari in virtual environment.I wonder if it’s possible to add a button allowing user watch the HDR content in virtual environment that is built on AVKit. It would be even better if it allow users adjust the size and tilt of video in virtual environment.

Thank you for reporting this issue! Your feedback has been super helpful, and our team was able to identify and fix the "black screen playback" issue. The fix requires that you force quit YouTube app before attempting playback again. You could also try uninstalling and re-installing the app. Please give this a try now and see if everything is working as expected!

This release includes: • VisionOS 27 compatibility issues. • Smoother Shorts & 360 video playback: Fixed an issue where Shorts would freeze on the first video, and improved stability for 360-degree video playback when opening external links. • Browse & navigation polish: Resolved overlapping scrollbars across Browse pages and enlarged buttons like channel reporting and subscriptions for easier selection.
