    Der Minnesänger Albrecht war vermutlich Dienstmann der Grafen von Rapperswil und bekleidete das Hofamt des Marschalls, führte also die Aufsicht über das berittene Gefolge. Rapperswil liegt am südlichen Ufer des Zürichsees im Kanton St. Gallen. Personen, mit denen er identifiziert werden kann, sind 1272 und 1276 bzw. 1321 und 1336 beurkundet.
