English: These controllers were made circa 1972 by Robert Saunders when he was implementing Spacewar! on Hewlett Packard hardware for play at home in Palo Alto. These are basically the same design as the original ones he made at MIT with Alan Kotok, but they have an aluminum faceplate instead of Bakelite. These have been donated to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
