Hello! I am an employee of SciPlay, a subsidiary company of Light & Wonder, looking to help make improvements to this article. I'd like to add a short paragraph on SciPlay as a wholly owned subsidiary of Light & Wonder to the existing Subsidiaries section that cites reliable secondary sources.
The article History mentions that SciPlay had its IPO in 2019 and Light & Wonder (then Scientific Games) retained a majority ownership, but there's no mention about Light & Wonder later acquiring the remaining equity interest to make SciPlay a wholly owned subsidiary. This information feels like it fits best in the Subsidiaries section, so I have some proposed additions to include it there.

Wholly owned subsidiaries of Light & Wonder include The Global Draw,[1] Barcrest,[2] Bally Technologies,[3][4] WMS Industries,[5][6] MDI Entertainment, LLC, NYX Gaming Group Limited,[7] and SciPlay Corp.[8][9] In 2006, the company acquired the lottery operations of the Swedish firm EssNet,[10] as well as The Global Draw which provides server-based gambling machines to betting shops in the UK.[1] Another UK-based gaming company Barcrest was acquired from IGT in 2010.[2] Barcrest is the owner of Deal Games and a producer of betting and gambling terminals.[11] In October 2013, the company bought WMS Industries, the third largest manufacturer of slot machines, for $1.5 billion.[5][6] Scientific Games later acquired another slot machine maker, Bally Technologies, in November 2014, for $3.3 billion plus $1.8 billion in assumed debt.[12] In 2016, the company acquired DEQ Systems, a Canadian table-game maker.[13] The mobile bingo app maker Spicerack Media Inc. was acquired in April 2017 to expand the Scientific Games social gaming division.[14] Scientific Games also announced the $631 million acquisition of NYX Gaming Group Limited in September 2017.[15] When NYX acquisition was completed, the company gained the sports-betting platform OpenBet which handles about 80% of all sports betting in the UK as of 2018.[16] In November 2021, SG acquired Authentic Gaming, a provider of live streaming casino games.[17][18] In May 2022, after previously reaching an exclusive distribution agreement with the company in Europe and North America, Light and Wonder acquired Playzido.[19] In 2023, Light & Wonder acquired the remaining 17% equity interest in its social gaming division SciPlay, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.[9] SciPlay is a developer and publisher of free-to-play social casino and casual mobile games for iOS App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, and Facebook.[20] Its games include Jackpot Party Casino Slots,[21] Gold Fish Casino Slots, Quick Hit Casino Slots, 88 Fortunes Casino Slots Games, Monopoly Slots Casino and Bingo Showdown.[22] In February 2025, the company acquired Grover Gaming, a charitable gambling business, which operates in five states allowing charitable organizations to benefit from the sale of pull tabs.
