Your American Horror Stories recent edits.

Hello, your recent edits to American Horror Stories season 3 episode table have caused some issues. You recently deleted an anchor ⚓️ that was placed next to the episode “Backrooms”. I had previously placed the anchor there so the redirect Backrooms (American Horror Stories) would take readers directly to the episode. Without the anchor it just redirects to the top of the article, which would not be very useful to our readers. I restored the anchor. Please be careful when editing episode tables in the future to insure that no more anchors are accidentally deleted.

@Purple Vortex Hello, I have once more removed the redundant anchor at American Horror Stories, and changed the anchor at Backrooms (American Horror Stories)Backrooms (American Horror Stories) to the episodic number anchor that is built into {{Episode list}}. You can read more about this in the documentation at Template:Episode list#Parameters; the EpisodeNumber row explains how the automatic anchor works. Looking for help

Hi Alex 21, since I know you're well-versed in template and coding on Wikipedia, I am looking for some assistance if you're able to help. Recently, Scrubs (TV series) was split into Scrubs (2001 TV series) and Scrubs (2026 TV series) and I'm running into some conflicts. I'd like the series overview table at List of Scrubs episodes to include both the original and revival seasons, with a header separating the two series like the example here but without Series A etc. stuff, just the top header separating the original and revival series. Is that possible? Also is there a way to transclude the two separate season tables for the revival to the list of episodes page as well? I tried, but it transcludes both tables under the same heading. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :) Drovethrughosts (talk) 14:44, 13 September 2026 (UTC)

@Drovethrughosts What an interesting situation! Both situations have been implemented, and can be seen at the episodes article. For the first, similar to List of Criminal Minds episodes or List of Star Trek television series, the series overview has a "part" parameter, which uses {{Series overview/part}} (a redirect from an episode table template, but it serves the same purpose). For the second, we can use WP:LST, which is a more technical way of transcluding different parts of same article. I must admit the situation piqued my interest, I've never seen two related series (such as the 2001/2026 series) then be transcluded to the same episodes article, especially when the latter doesn't have any season articles yet (the transclusion can be changed back to the onlyinclude tags once Scrubs (2026 TV series) season 1, etc. exists). Does the 2026 article now realistically need its smaller overview? -- Alex _talk 21:13, 13 September 2026 (UTC)

Thanks so much! I found a workaround originally, but what you did was definitely an improvement! I was trying to think of an example of TV series which had "parts" in its series overview but couldn't think of any. We're here again with the latest issue of the Space-Time Telegraph, where we have all the latest information on your favorite niche corner of Wikipedia, and wider happenings across the franchise. Dig in and enjoy! I like Quality Articles. Quality Articles are good. Since the publication of the last newsletter, several updates to quality content have occurred. Fifteenth Doctor has been promoted to GA status, and subsequently the Fifteenth Doctor Good Topic has been promoted, indicating that all major articles associated with the incarnation have been improved to GA status! Congratulations to all who have helped with this massive milestone. The former FAs Dalek and Douglas Adams have been improved to GA, and Doctor actors Tom Baker and Christopher Eccleston have also been promoted. Two Classic serials, The Celestial Toymaker and The Ice Warriors, have been improved, as has spin-off series Tales of the TARDIS. Finally, shoutout to The Invasion (Doctor Who)'s promotion, nominated by new nominater XCBRO172, as well as Christopher H. Bidmead, which has been the second promoted article by Lbal. At present, we are currently at 28 total Good Articles promoted this year, and hopefully if we keep up the pace this will be our second most productive year on record (Beating 2012's 36, though still a fair bit behind the over 50 articles from 2025). That said, on top of those new promotions, there are numerous nominations currently in the queue, and several articles and Good Topic projects currently in the works, so make sure to keep improving and reviewing articles for the project! Every step counts to improving our coverage of this show. Congratulations to all who have improved content in the past few months! It's the End of the World Doctor Who as We Know It (and I (Do Not) Feel Fine) In June, the BBC officially announced that the previously publicized 2026 Doctor Who Christmas special, was no more. The news was accompanied by a plethora of other information, most notably that showrunner Russell T Davies and producer Bad Wolf would be departing the programme, thereby allowing the BBC to issue an Invitation to tender. Davies revealed that the special was merely a ruse to satisfy audiences as the future of it was unknown, stating that no script was ever written and no performers approached. This does however, conflict with reports from composer Murray Gold, who suggested that Davies had authored multiple versions of a script. Since this announcement, many rumors have arisen suggesting that several studios/networks are interested in taking the reigns of Who. Among these, are longtime producer of the show BBC Studios, HBO/HBO Max, Amazon/Prime Video, World Productions, and Electric Entertainment. Netflix, meanwhile, has taken its hat out of the ring, with an executive stating they believe Doctor Who's belongs with the Beeb. While these rumors will likely only continue to grow, the tender invitation has only recently been formally published, so it remains to be seen what, if any, future the series has. If Who does find a new production partner, no cast or crew is currently signed onto the series. The rumor mill is also running wild on who the next showrunner should be, with names such as Pete McTighe, Jack Thorne, Mark Gatiss, and many others, all being mentioned. Once the above is all resolved, sorted, and tucked away nicely, the biggest question of course, becomes what do you do with that cliffhanger... Intelligence Bulletin from the Subwave Network The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit will receive a limited theatrical release on 23 November to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper). The special omnibus format of the story includes previously unreleased material as well as an interview with an unspecified guest. Listings for the showing have so far appeared on some British, Canadian, and Irish cinema pages, but it is unknown where, if anywhere else, it will be shown. Big Finish Productions has recently announced two new series of full-cast audio dramas. River Song (Alex Kingston) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) will star in a quartet of adventures coming this January, while the Tenth Doctor and Rani Chandra (Anjli Mohindra) are set to record a trilogy of stories which will release in August 2027. Darvill has also teamed up with former co-star and on-screen wife Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) for "The Pondcast", an upcoming Doctor Who rewatch podcast from their time together on the show. Ex-Who boss Steven Moffat, has also been confirmed as a guest on their upcoming show. Funko revealed a new range of Doctor Who Pop figures featuring the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Fourteenth Doctors, as well as River Song and a Dalek due for release in October. Big Finish will also be publishing hardback replicas of the Radio Times tenth and twentieth Who anniversary specials, first released by BBC Magazines in 1973 and 1983, respectively. The BBC has revealed in their invitation to tender the series, that the next series of Doctor Who will tentatively air in 2028 or 2029.
