They all draw from \u201cthe influ\u00adence that the phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy of the Bauhaus move\u00adment still exerts on the glob\u00adal\u00adized soci\u00adety of the 21st cen\u00adtu\u00adry,\u201d a time that has its soci\u00adetal par\u00adal\u00adlels with the year 1919.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oc-center-da\">\n<div data-fuse=\"22871471544\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>To illus\u00adtrate those par\u00adal\u00adlels as well as the con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ading rel\u00ade\u00advance of Bauhaus teach\u00adings, \u201cwe meet archi\u00adtects, urban plan\u00adners, design\u00aders and artists from around the globe who, in the spir\u00adit of the Bauhaus, want to rethink and change the world.\u201d&nbsp;True to its title, <em>Bauhaus World<\/em>\u2019s jour\u00adney involves a wide vari\u00adety of coun\u00adtries, and not just Euro\u00adpean ones: dif\u00adfer\u00adent seg\u00adments pro\u00adfile the work of Bauhaus-influ\u00adenced design\u00aders every\u00adwhere from Mex\u00adi\u00adco to Jor\u00addan, Colom\u00adbia to Israel, the Unit\u00aded States to Japan.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oc-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"oc-video-container\">\n\t<span class=\"youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"505\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2uVWAS6Q6AY?wmode=transparent&amp;fs=1&amp;hl=en&amp;showsearch=0&amp;rel=0&amp;theme=dark\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n<p>\t<!-- \/oc-video-embed -->\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \/oc-video-wrapper --><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s in Japan, in fact, that the first part of <em>Bauhaus World<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rg3X1vZN5TA\">\u201cThe Code,\u201d<\/a> finds the out\u00ader reach\u00ades of the spread of Bauhaus that began with the exile of its mem\u00adbers from Nazi Ger\u00admany. The sec\u00adond part, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/LW1415Ddf8c\">\u201cThe Effect,\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;deals with the endur\u00ading influ\u00adence that has turned Bauhaus and its prin\u00adci\u00adples from a move\u00adment to a brand, one that has poten\u00adtial\u00adly done more than its share to make us as design-obsessed as we\u2019ve become in the 21st cen\u00adtu\u00adry \u2014 a cen\u00adtu\u00adry that, the third and final part <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2uVWAS6Q6AY\">\u201cThe Utopia\u201d<\/a> con\u00adsid\u00aders, may or may not have a place for the orig\u00adi\u00adnal Bauhaus ideals.
