Here’s what’s new: - The “Let Me Listen to You” Entry: Sometimes it’s easier to speak than to write. This new entry type lets you talk freely and turns your thoughts into a structured journal entry. Bubbles also asks gentle follow-up questions to help you reflect a little deeper. All your data stays private and on-device. - Turn drawings into artwork: On the canvas you can transform sketches and handwritten notes into creative artwork in a variety of styles, like stickers, calligraphy and pixel art! - Journal your way: We are now resizable, so you can write in the window size that feels right for you. You can also drag and drop images directly onto your pages. - A Liquid Glass redesign: We revisited the journaling experience with a fresh new look, refined navigation and lots of small details. - A cute new sticker pack for everyone who also loves Matcha & Tiramisu :) Thank you all for your incredible support and for allowing this passion project to keep growing. Hey everyone, Anna, my partner and co-founder, has now officially joined the team. Anna has been shaping Bubbles behind the scenes for a long time through design and concept work. So much of the love that defines this app comes directly from her talent. I deeply appreciate all the care and creativity she has already brought to this app, and I’m so excited for everything we will create together going forward. We’ve updated some of the text in the app to properly reflect her official role. Additionally, we fixed a bug where button hitboxes were larger than they should have been. On compatible devices, after you’ve written a few entries, a new button appears while writing. Tap it and Bubbles will help you reflect, explore new perspectives, and find fresh ideas for what to write next. Thanks to Apple Intelligence, everything stays on device, works offline, and remains private. We also refined the little chit chat in the menu even further. Hey everyone, I hope you had an awesome holiday season and could enjoy a mindful and calm time! I am so excited to share this update with you, as we have big news. Since many of you have been asking for more stickers, Bubbles has implemented a new feature called Sticker Studio. You can now import stickers from various apps and collections, giving you endless creative possibilities. I can't wait to hear your feedback on this! Additionally, with the help of Apple Intelligence, Genmoji and Image Playground have found their way into your journal, allowing you to effortlessly add AI-generated images that perfectly reflect your emotions and thoughts. Of course, we included a few stability improvements and bug fixes, such as resolving an issue with the squeeze gesture of the Apple Pencil Pro. Thanks for reporting, Stephan :) Also, automatic backups have been removed, as they caused some lags when your journal was very large. However, please remember to create manual backups from time to time through the settings. I wish all of you a happy new year in 2025!
