Edward Andy Welch (March 24, 1925 – January 15, 1996) was an American professional wrestler who wrestled in Georgia, Tennessee, and the Southeastern United States.[3]
Professional wrestling career
[edit]Fuller started his wrestling career in 1951 for Gulf Coast. He teamed up with his uncle Lester. From 1966 to 1972, he teamed with Ray Gunkel and won many tag team titles. The team ended when Gunkel died of a heart attack. In 1979 he won the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championship with his son Ron.
He retired from wrestling in 1981.
Personal life
[edit]Fuller is the son of Roy Welch. His sons Robert and Ron.[4][5]
