Calling all Wikimedia editors, Wikipedia-curious and friends of open knowledge! Join the Bay Area Wikipedians for an evening of learning about Wikipedia, over pizza, cake and drinks.
We meet Tuesday September 15 at 6.30 PM near BART's Mission and 24th station. Address provided on registration.

- 7.20pm - Join one of four activities:
- Make your first edits or your first page: a workshop for newcomers - led by User:E mln e and User:Mathglot
- Learn the basics of studio photography: a Wikiportraits training - led by User:Jessekornblum
- Friends of Wiki: map time! Bring a project, a favorite map, a mapping project, or get started with OpenStreetMap - led by User:Mxn
- Wiki Tech and AI: a social for technical editors of wiki, public-interest AI and other open source software projects - led by User:ElanHR
- To be confirmed: introduction to patrolling for intermediate editors
- 9pm - Wrap up

[edit]We expect all attendees to abide by the Universal Code of Conduct. Any issue can be reported to the events organizers, which will introduce themselves at the beginning of the meetup.
