Ralph Lars Herseth (June 16, 1946 – September 12, 2026) was an American politician. He served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 1979 to 1986 and in the Senate from 1989 to 1996.[1][2] He was the son of Ralph and Lorna Herseth.[3]
Herseth died from cancer on September 12, 2026, at the age of 80.[4]
