The Blaze

I'm not sure how reliable the Blaze is, and I'm hoping that more reliable sources will report on this claim to see if it's true or false. Anyway, the Blaze is claiming that video from January 6 proves that one of the witnesses who testified in the Oath Keepers trial lied under oath. The video has been made public, so it should not be hard for other sources to investigate the claim by the Blaze.

Bias and Disingenuous

It is very interesting, but not surprising, how the entire introduction to this article aims to paint a completely negative picture of the Oath Keepers and is propped up by all progressive or left-leaning sources. I would like to recommend a completely unbiased and authentic representation of the Oath Keepers (including the good and the bad). As this is my first time editing Wikipedia articles, I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and unbiased writing. Let's be better than today's media organizations. I will conduct research and make recommendations accordingly.

To start, I recommend replacing the article's first paragraph (see below) with the EBSCO Information Services description (immediately following the original first paragraph below).

“Oath Keepers is an American far-right[1] anti-government militia[1][5] whose leaders have been convicted of violently opposing the US government, including the transfer of presidential power as prescribed by the United States Constitution. It was incorporated in 2009 by founder Stewart Rhodes, a lawyer and former paratrooper. In 2023, Rhodes was sentenced to 18 years for seditious conspiracy in the January 6 United States Capitol attack, and another leader, Kelly Meggs, was sentenced to 12 years for the same crime.[6] Three other members have pleaded guilty to this crime, and four other members have been convicted of it.[7][8] By September 2021, twenty members had been indicted for federal crimes related to the Capitol attack.[9][10][11][12][13] The organization was subpoenaed by the January 6th Committee in November 2021.”
