Conflict of interest edit request: Updating outdated company information

I have disclosed my current relationship with SCTbio on my user page and am submitting this request in accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidance.

I currently work for SCTbio and therefore have a conflict of interest regarding this article. I am not editing the article directly and am instead requesting review by independent editors.

The article appears to be based largely on information from 2021–2022 and no longer accurately reflects the company's current structure, operations, and service offerings. I would like to request consideration of the following updates.

Operations

The current article describes the Prague GMP facility but predates later facility developments. The facility currently comprises more than 2,000 square meters of operational space, including approximately 420 m² of GMP cleanroom facilities. The article could also more clearly describe the facility's segregated manufacturing areas designed to minimize cross-contamination risks.

The word “recently” is inaccurate. Viral vector manufacturing is an established SCTbio capability, not a recent expansion. The change removes the incorrect time reference while retaining the relevant factual information about the facility’s scope.

Additional request regarding financial figures

The current infobox includes revenue, operating income, net income and total asset figures based on 2020 data. However, SCTbio was founded in 2021. The current article states that SCTbio was founded on 1 July 2021 and was originally part of SOTIO before becoming SCTbio. 【1-062527】

It therefore appears possible that the financial figures currently shown in the infobox are historical figures associated with SOTIO Biotech or a predecessor entity rather than the current standalone SCTbio company. If that understanding is correct, the figures may be misleading to readers because they do not reflect the company described in the article today. 【1-062527】

I would therefore respectfully request that independent editors review the appropriateness of retaining these financial figures. If reliable, current financial data for SCTbio is not available, I would suggest that removal of the financial figures may be preferable to retaining figures that relate to a different historical entity.

In my view, the article would be more accurate if it focused on verifiable information about SCTbio itself, including its company profile, facilities, manufacturing capabilities, service portfolio, operational footprint and workforce.

Hi Sammi Brie, thanks so much for fixing the formatting and for the guidance! I'm a complete newbie to editing on Wikipedia... I drafted and edited the updates myself, but made the mistake of trusting an AI tool just to format it into a wikitext request, not realizing all those line numbers would break the markup. Sorry!!! I appreciate your patience and, now that I know how this works, I will make sure to write out all future requests manually.
