I think the early response of the Desi Hip Hop people should be talked about

The responses of the celebrities came late. However, various figures like Emiway Bantai, Seedhe Maut (Encore ABJ), Raftaar, KR$NA, Naam Sujal, and a lot more responded/participated/made a track beforehand. There should be another section of violence by so called "student protesters"

The protesters also engaged in heavy violence. Stone pelting, car vandalism, targetting alone police personnel have taken place. We should not be biased and make another section on it ~2026-41326-25 (talk) 08:13, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

There should be another section for the terrorists, who wanted to disturb the protest.

As detailed in official police reports and press releases from the West Bengal STF and Punjab Police, multiple arrests (including Jaish-e-Mohammed and ISI-backed operatives) yielded petrol bombs, firearms, and intelligence confirming plans to disrupt the protest site and cause heavy casualties. Given the mounting evidence from investigative agencies regarding the intent to sabotage the demonstration and potentially cause widespread violence, the current coverage in the lead underestimates the severity of the security threat.

Also, I have already written 2 small paragraphs saying this, but I feel that a detailed section is more necessary. I would appreciate input from other editors on structuring this section YoRizzSlayer (talk) 17:38, 6 August 2026 (UTC)

Oppose: This article is related to events that happened on 20th July 2026. And the things you are talking about is related to broader protest. On the question of terrorist activity... it's a well known fact that no reported terrorism incident happened either on 20th or either during the protest.

Renaming a generic slogan "Sansad Chalo" to specific event date in history

Renaming a generic slogan "Sansad Chalo" is a recurring historical rally cry used by numerous distinct agitations in India over many decades, rather than a title unique to one single event. Leaving the article named generally as "Sansad Chalo march" mistakenly implies it represents all historical iterations of these marches, rather than the specfic event which was organised by CJP and Youth of India on July 2026. This was a bad idea. We don't prepend articles with words like "Event:" that seem to imply some other namespace. If you felt the need to disambiguate the title, you should have done it with a date, a geographic identifier, or some other contextual information. Please move it to a cromulent title. @Einsof Event not renamed when movng, it was added by default upon selecting the type. My suggestion is to rename from now ambiguos title 'Sansad Chalo march' to a more specific event title "Student Protest - Sansad Chalo march - July 2026" OR "CJP - Sansad Chalo march - July 2026" as per the wiki standard not as an article but as an event. Please read WP:TITLE to come up with something better. We don't string phrases together with hyphens to make titles. In the meantime, I asked at WP:RM to have this moved back to the previous title. Einsof (talk) 19:07, 11 September 2026 (UTC)

It has already been moved to a previous title. The question remains "Sansad Chalo march " is a genric historical rally cry not a specified event. We need to come up with better name. Pratyush Chowdhary (talk) 10:11, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
