[Format Issue]: Tendency to Create Whitespace Blocks

Hi all,

This isn’t unique to this template, but I’ve noticed that it often creates a large amount of whitespace on several pages where it’s used (examples below). In some cases it also seems resistant to standard fixes like

or similar float-clearing approaches.

Does anyone have suggestions for how to properly resolve this on this template, or a recommended way to position the template so it consistently anchors to the top of the relevant section rather than leaving a large gap? I’m not very experienced with layout/template handling, so any fix/guidance or best practices would be appreciated. Thanks!
