Master Warrant Officer Musa Bello

Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Musa Bello is a senior non-commissioned officer of the Nigerian Air Force with an extensive career in military administration, operations support, intelligence coordination, and executive assistance. Throughout his distinguished service, he has held several key appointments across the Nigerian Air Force and Defence Headquarters, contributing significantly to operational effectiveness and administrative excellence.

MWO Musa Bello served as Personal Assistant to several distinguished senior officers of the Nigerian Air Force, including Air Vice Marshal A.A. Iya, Air Vice Marshal R.A. Ojuawo, and Air Vice Marshal J.K. Baba, all accomplished fighter pilots who participated in numerous air interdiction operations within Nigeria and in multinational peace support missions abroad.

He also served as Personal Assistant to Air Vice Marshal J.A. Yusuf, an accomplished aviator who transitioned from fighter aircraft to mobility aircraft operations. During his illustrious career, Air Vice Marshal Yusuf held several strategic appointments, including Director of Operations at Defence Headquarters, Air Officer Commanding Training Command, Air Officer Commanding Special Operations Command, Chief of Operations at Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, Chief of Policy and Plans at Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, and Chief of Defence Policy and Plans at Defence Headquarters. These senior officers served the Federal Republic of Nigeria with distinction before retiring honourably.

Beyond executive support duties, MWO Musa Bello has served in several important operational and administrative roles, including Chief Clerk of the Nigerian Contingent to the African-led International Support Mission to Mali (AFISMA), Chief Clerk at the Nigerian Air Force School of Air Intelligence, Makurdi, Instructor at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administration and Management (NAFIAM), staff member at the Defence Headquarters Liaison Office to the National Assembly, and currently as the Nigerian Air Force Representative at the Defence Joint Intelligence Monitoring Centre (DJIMC), Port Harcourt.
