Thanks for this. I am working on references, but didn't have time to put them in yet, and I did not want to wait to publish simple errors in the existing version.

Many of the changes I made were not easily documented, but they are part of my lived experience, working for this organization for 44 years, serving on the Board and writing a PhD on the founder. (One of the existing references is for my dissertation.) Parsonsgh (talk) 20:37, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi @Parsonsgh thank you so much for your reply. Information on Wikipedia needs to be verifiable, which often means the use of reliable sources to provide citations, and it is the burden of the person who adds information to source it at that time. Personal experience without a reliable source errs into original research which is not allowed.

Also since you have a personal connection with the organization and founder you should read the policy on WP:Conflict of Interest, contributing within a topic that you have a CoI in requires taking some extra steps to help ensure that information added to Wikipedia retains a neutral pov. Normally this entails disclosing your CoI by posting a notice on the article's talk page, then instead of making substantive edits directly, proposing changes by making an edit request, another editor will review your proposed change and either incorporate it as is, or decline to in its current state and open a discussion with you about it.

Since you're a new editor the welcome guide is a great hub for information, especially the introduction which can walk you step by step through policy and ways you can contribute.
