Adelaide edit-a-thon 10, 9 October 2026

Adelaide Meetup Next: 9 October 2026 Last: 4 September 2026

Hi Presidentman, as a participant in WikiProject South Australia, I'm just letting you know about the next training session on Friday, 9 October, which will have an emphasis on improving Wikipedia through uploading photos to Wikimedia Commons. While it's primarily aimed at newcomers, it would be great to have your participation in assisting with the event, or having a catchup with local Wikimedia staff. Registration details for the in-person or Zoom session and more resources are on the event page, which also includes, at the bottom of the page, an expanding list of suggested articles for improvement, with references.

The event page also has links to two Nature Festival events where local Wikipedia editors will have a presence, with opportunities for nature photography. (If there is interest, future visits to other sites of natural or historic interest can be arranged, lead by volunteer guides from local Friends of Parks groups.)
