No worries. When you're editing the draft you are overwriting the top part which contains my decline notice. In the Visual Editor it's the pink box. In the Source Editor its the code:

I apologize and as I wrote yesterday I was totally unaware of all this information. As far as the physics is concerned the contribution of the Fischler-Susskind mechanism gathered more than 900 citations, so it does not quite feel not notable.

However, if Wikipedia did a thorough research on the information in the aforementioned pages by checking sources and citations there would be no doubt about the accuracy of these pages. Another non-answer which is not acceptable. You don't need to say who you are or how you are affiliated, only that you do have COI and declare it (which I can help you do). As far as the draft, you need to address the concerns at Draft talk:Fischler–Susskind mechanism (string theory)#Spuriouscitation regarding the supposedly fake citations. Another non-answer. @Bishonen I don't think I have ever bugged you but are good at assessing COI and determining appropriate action (if any). This editor over the past decade has only edited about Willy Fischler, including uploading photos of them for which they state they are the author. They rarely edit so most of this is old except for the draft and the accompanying content they added to Willy Fischler which I reverted, in part due to concerns about the draft. The draft is rejected based on feedback from I solicited from WT:WikiProject Physics which led to Draft talk:Fischler–Susskind mechanism (string theory)#Spurious citation and it is likely they used AI thus the fake references, though the topic might be actually be notable. I have tried in WP:AFG to get them to address both but all I am getting is evasive responses. Not sure where to go from here or leave it as is. S0091 (talk) 22:23, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

You need to tell us whether or not you're paid to edit

Hi, Tintin. Wikipedia has a guideline about editing with a conflict of interest. S0091 has been telling you about that, but you seem to have difficulty replying. Editing with a conflict of interest means editing about yourself, or about members of your family, or your friends, clients, or employers — anybody you have a connection with, personal or financial. A conflict of interest can easily affect the way a person edits, making it more positive, or more negative. For that reason, editing with a conflict of interest is discouraged. It is not, however, forbidden. Please read the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide to see how best to edit despite having a conflict of interest. You will see one particularly important point there: If you're paid for editing, such as if it's part of your job, you must make a statement about it, see for how.

It seems to me that your replies on this page so far have been evasive, and have not engaged with S0091's actual questions. Please answer yes or no to this question: are you paid by anybody for editing about Willy Fischler, such as is that editing part of your job? You say above that you don't have time "to address all of the concerns and correct some of the references". But you surely have time to say either "yes" or "no" to that question. If you're not paid, but nevertheless do have a conflict of interest (that might be for example if you're writing about yourself, or about a friend, without any payment being involved), I'm not empowered to insist that you disclose it, but I recommend you to, as it's the ethical and helpful thing to do. Compare this advice. Note, always, what S0091 has already told you: you do not in any case have to say who you are! Your privacy is respected here.
