Mango does not look remotely impressed by the addition. When Mishki turns toward him, Mango follows his face with the same deeply unimpressed stare.

It’s Mango’s disgusted expression that is the star of this video. His owner hoped that getting him a brother would make the house and the cat feel a little less lonely. Mango, however, currently seems to disagree with the whole assumption. Mishki is completely unaware of the issue. He sits beside Mango and carries on grooming himself, perfectly comfortable in his new home.

Mango barely moves. He just watches. Then Mishki pauses and turns his head toward him. Mango follows the movement with his eyes. Just a long look that says he has noticed everything and is not particularly pleased about any of it. Mishki eventually jumps off the chair, and Mango’s gaze follows him again. He does not even need to move to make his feelings known.

The video has collected more than 108,000 likes, and the comments have had plenty to say about the situation. One person joked that Mango asked for peace, not a roommate. Another suggested that he really wanted his own place. Someone else pointed out that at least the owner is no longer the only person Mango supposedly hates.

There was even a suggestion to try a third cat as a “peacekeeper,” although Mango might have some thoughts about expanding the household again. For now, Mishki seems happy enough to share the chair, while Mango is still deciding whether this whole brother arrangement was necessary.
