USC's lead grows, but individual race remains up for grabs at Golfweek Red Sky Classic

While the race for a team title is turning into a blowout, there are plenty of players vying for an individual title at Red Sky Golf Club.

Miami sophomore Scarlett Schremmer nearly chipped in for eagle on the par-5 18th hole Tuesday, but a tap-in birdie gave her a two-shot lead heading into the final round of the 2026 Golfweek Red Sky Classic. Schremmer, who already has a win this season, sits at 11-under after a bogey-free 6-under 66 on Tuesday.

There are plenty of players looking to chase down Schremmer, including Southern California sophomore Sarah Hammett. The Aussie fired a 7-under 65 in the second round, her lowest collegiate round by two shots, and is at 9 under. Then there's a trio at 8 under: LSU's Raegan Denton, Pepperdine's Eunseo Choi and USC's Kylie Chong, one of last year's co-medalists.

There are nine players within five shots of the lead, but everyone will try to catch Schremmer in the final round. Through 36 holes, she has 12 birdies and only one bogey.

Defending champion USC leads by 15 shots after two rounds over Miami. The Trojans, who set a tournament scoring record at 45 under last year, are at 33 under with 18 holes to go in the Rockies. Texas A&M and Pepperdine will play in the final groups with USC and Miami.

Wednesday's final round will feature a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
