My favorite summer accessory is the unexpected MVP of every beach trip
I love it when the tiniest little thing can be a total game-changer. I will admit, when I purchased this silly umbrella hook for $20 last summer, I didn't expect it to become the MVP of our family beach trips, but it did.
We are beach people in my family. Well, most of us at least. My mom lives at the beach. My sisters and their families love the beach, I love the beach, and so do my three kids. My husband… tolerates the beach.
It was a hard sell before kids, but I used to entice him with a relaxing day to read in the shade. Now with the 4,000 snacks, wet and sandy towels, endless sand toys, and constant sunscreen reapplications, it's a full-contact sport. My husband's number one complaint about the beach is the sand and how it is everywhere.
